March and April 2018 Updates

Name Change Complete! Gamer Changer has evolved into Hero Spark! *Pokemon Evolve Music*

We successfully got the name change to Hero Spark completed and have been diligently working on getting everything switched over to the new branding! It’s been a crazy process and we wouldn’t wish it on our worst enemy, but now we have the new name and everything is smooth sailing!

Spring Break Camp

In March, we had our Spring Break Camp that was a fantastic success! We introduced 16 students to our new storytelling centric D&D program using the famous Story Circle. We had 3 groups of players with student Game Masters, creating and running their own games! We saw some amazing creativity with the stories that the students created. We are very proud of them all!

Quarter Throwdown

We had an awesome time at another Quarter Throwdown at the end of the month and made some new and amazing connections. Thank you to everyone that came out and joined in on the fun. What??? You’ve never been to a Quarter Throwdown? Check it out!

Camps Discounts

Sign up for your camps through the end of April and you’ll get a discount! Save $25 per kid per camp for signing up early! We also have multi-student discounts! Reach out to Phil (phil@herospark.org) for more information!

Before You Go…

We’d like to thank Page 15 for generously giving us a place to host our camps this year! Their famous Young Writers Camps are conveniently close by, so check them out as well! I can speak as a past employee and total fanboy of the program, their camps rock!
