Summer Camps 2020

Ages: 11-17. Cost: $125/Week.

In our one week camps you’ll be playing the world’s most popular Role-playing Game, Dungeons and Dragons, where you’ll learn everything you need to play D&D with your newfound friends and fellow adventurers.

Students will learn how to master the art of adventure building, develop and write story arcs, create characters and play through adventures that they and their fellow campers create. They’ll also make friends, engage in teamwork and problem-solving skills, and test their creativity as they go on a unique adventure in their mind's eye.

At the end of the camp, our students will receive a compendium of all of our campers adventures, and the necessary game supplies, so they can continue their adventures throughout the summer and beyond!

Week 1: TBD

Week 2: TBD

Warhammer Paint and Play

Hero Spark & The Warhammer Store in Winter Park have teamed up for a special program focused on home-school students. Warhammer is a popular miniature army game with fantasy and sci-fi themes that allows students to build and paint model figures, and then play a strategic and narrative focused tabletop game.

Students will learn the proper way to build and paint their models, and then learn how to write and play their own narrative and story-driven games with the figures that they created. This program will give our home-school students a new opportunity to express their creativity, and grow their social skills and sportsmanship with peer to peer competition.
